If he doesn't have plans, he can attend the Oscars

Michael Moore in a little video here announces with glee that Castro's resignation is perfect timing, because now he can come to the Oscars as Moore's +1. "Maybe even give the acceptance speech."

Something tells me Fidel won't be available, he'll be busy with the business of transition...that and the whole death from complications in stomach surgery 19 months ago will probably leave him unavailable---so Moore will probably have to do his own acceptance speech.

I sure hope he has a minute to address the healthcare issues in the US-if there ever was a proper forum for debate aout complex issues like universal socialized healthcare it is in a 1 minute acceptance speech at the Oscars!
